Nut is the goddess of the sky, and protector of the dead. She is the daughter of Shu (The god of Light) and Tefnut (The goddess of moisture). She is the mother of Isis, Osiris, Nephthys, and Set. She is depicted in the earth. Her body is the sky, her husband is the earth, and she is said to have given birth to the sun and universe.
Nut is responsible for a few things. She is responsible for the sky and heavens, mother and guardian, demi-animals, mortality, and physical poweress.
Her symbols include the stars and nighttime sky, cows, and coffins.
Her offerings are cool water, milk, enclosing items, and flowers.
